I was curious when my friend asked if I would play some guitar on the composition “Irie”. What would the music be like – ambient? Harmonic, melodic, rhythmic? What kinds of colors would I hear in it? I was very pleasantly surprised that Shuta’s music contained all these compelling elements, and I was inspired to play inside of this sonic world of Shuta’s creation.
